RuangKreasi Sewing Drawstring Bag Class<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, the RuangKreasi community Batch 1<\/strong> gathered for an exciting session to learn how to sew drawstring bag handicrafts. The class began at 10:00 a.m.<\/strong> and concluded at 4:00 p.m.<\/strong>. Led by our dedicated instructors\u2014Teacher Mai, Teacher Fatin, and Madam Athirah<\/strong>\u2014the session ran smoothly and professionally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The primary goal of this workshop was to empower the community with practical life skills. Specifically, the objectives were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mastering the Basics:<\/strong> Teaching participants how to produce versatile bags that can be styled in various ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Skill Progression:<\/strong> Moving students from having “zero basic” knowledge to becoming more skilled in sewing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Project Completion:<\/strong> Ensuring every student successfully finishes their own handmade drawstring bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To start the session, the instructors introduced the fundamental steps of creating a drawstring bag. First, participants learned how to mark and cut their fabric with precision. Because many started with no prior experience, the teachers provided close guidance throughout the cutting phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As the day progressed, the focus shifted to the sewing machines. Participants carefully stitched their fabric pieces together, focusing on neatness and durability. For instance, they learned the correct technique for creating the drawstring casing. This hands-on approach helped the community members gain confidence. Consequently, their technical skills improved significantly by the afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The atmosphere at Ruangkreasi Shah Alam<\/strong> was filled with focus and determination. Throughout the day, students chose various beautiful colors according to their own personal preferences.
