On this day, the focus shifted to one of the most visually exciting aspects of the process\u2014basic fabric folding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pertama,<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>As the session began, Teacher Fatin welcomed everyone with a warm smile and a brief recap of the previous class. To ensure a smooth start, the class first reviewed the fundamental tie &amp; dye preparations they had learned earlier. This quick refresher helped everyone feel confident and ready to move forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Second<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Miss Aida had already prepared all the necessary materials with care and precision. Thanks to her thorough setup, the class could immediately begin the practical session without delays. Neatly arranged on each table were pieces of calico fabric, bottles of dye, fabric pens, gloves, and elastic bands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Third<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>With everything in place, Teacher Fatin introduced the featured technique of the day: <strong>Shibori triangle folding<\/strong>. This traditional Japanese folding method involves shaping fabric into repeated triangle forms before dyeing. She explained each step clearly and demonstrated the technique slowly, making it easy for students to follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fourth<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, the students eagerly picked up their calico fabric and began folding. With every triangle fold, they followed Fatin\u2019s instructions closely, paying attention to symmetry and consistency. Some needed extra guidance, but Teacher Fatin moved around the room, offering tips and encouragement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After completing their folds, students transitioned to the dyeing stage. They applied vibrant fabric dyes to the folded calico, using different color combinations to explore various effects. Each student created something unique, blending colors to match their vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once dyed, the folded fabric was set aside to dry. At this stage, patience was crucial. The dye needed time to set fully before the final reveal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, after the fabric dried, students slowly unfolded their creations. Beautiful, bold geometric patterns emerged, revealing the magic of the Shibori technique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the end, the class celebrated their success.
