Kolaborasi Bersama Selangor Youth Community (SYC)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Inilah embroidery class program<\/strong> by MyKreasi was a great success on June 26, 2024. This event was a partnership with the Selangor Youth Community (SYC). Specifically, SYC is an organization under the patronage of His Majesty the Sultan of Selangor. Our main goal was to share skills with teenagers at the Sri Saradha Child Care Center. This center is located in Rawang, Selangor. Consequently, MyKreasi brought trainers to the center to empower these young people. We believe that this embroidery class program<\/strong> builds a better future for underprivileged youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During the workshop, instructors from Ruangkreasi taught the art of hand embroidery. They focused on beautiful flower embroidery techniques. First, the students learned the basic stitches. After that, they practiced stitching on their own. One highlight of the embroidery class program<\/strong> was teaching them to turn embroidery into keychains. This task gave the participants a real sense of achievement. Furthermore, it showed them that simple tools can create great products. As a result, every student learned a new craft they can use forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to art, the embroidery class program<\/strong> included a business lesson. Madam Athirah taught the basics of starting a small business. For example, she explained how to sell handmade crafts to customers. She also showed how to calculate a fair selling price. This included the cost of materials, labor, and profit. Therefore, this lesson was vital for the financial independence of the youth.
