Craft Bag Class – Module 1 and Module 2<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tote Bag Sewing Class for RuangKreasi Batch 5 took place on 7 August 2024 with full attendance from the craft bag community. This session focused on completing structured tote bag projects using techniques learned from earlier modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants worked on different tote designs based on their assigned tasks. Some focused on sewing the Zipper Tote Bag, while others completed the Urban Tote Bag. Each project required accurate pattern alignment, straight stitching, and reinforced seams to ensure durability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teacher Safwa guided the class step by step and monitored every participant closely. She demonstrated proper strap attachment, base reinforcement, and zipper installation techniques. Participants adjusted their stitching immediately after receiving feedback, which improved their overall finishing quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the session, the atmosphere remained focused and productive. Participants showed stronger control over fabric handling and machine speed. Their earlier practice with corners and petite bags helped them complete the tote projects more efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The class also emphasized balance and structure. Participants checked seam allowance carefully and ensured that the bag base remained stable. They reinforced stress points to increase durability, especially for tote handles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the end of the workshop, all participants successfully completed their assigned tote projects with noticeable improvement in neatness and structure. Tote Bag Sewing Class strengthened their understanding of bag construction while increasing confidence in handling more advanced
