Ms. Aliz\u2019s Private Modern Baju Kurung Class with Teacher Maisarah \u2013 Day 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Miss Aliz enrolled in a two-day Modern Baju Kurung Class held on 25th and 26th February 2025. This private session gave her focused guidance under Teacher Maisarah from RuangKREASI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before joining the class, Miss Aliz had already learned basic sewing on her own. However, she wanted structured guidance to strengthen her skills. On Day 1, Teacher Maisarah focused on building strong foundations. She guided Miss Aliz through proper sewing machine handling, including speed control, thread setting, and stitch consistency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mastering the sewing machine formed an essential first step. Once Miss Aliz gained confidence, the class moved to pattern drafting. Teacher Maisarah introduced the D’ Athirah Magic Ruler 03 (DMR03), an innovative tool that simplifies and speeds up pattern drafting. The tool helped her measure and draw clean, accurate lines with greater efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With close supervision, Miss Aliz drafted her Modern Baju Kurung pattern on paper. She carefully marked measurements, shaped the bodice, and adjusted the design according to her size. After finalizing the paper draft, she cut the pattern and transferred it onto fabric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This hands-on approach allowed her to understand garment construction from the beginning stage. Instead of relying on ready-made patterns, she learned how to build one independently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Modern Baju Kurung Class provided more than technical skills. It strengthened Miss Aliz\u2019s confidence and precision.
