Hari Perusahaan Sosial 2024<\/strong> telah disambut pada 27 Jun 2024 bertempat di Asia School of Business (ASB), Kuala Lumpur dan sambutan ini disempurnakan lagi dengan kehadiran YB Datuk Ewon Benedick, Menteri Pembangunan Usahawan dan Koperasi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perusahaan sosial (Social Enterprises; SE) adalah entiti perniagaan yang mempunyai misi utama untuk menangani isu-isu sosial atau alam sekitar sambil menjana keuntungan. Berbeza dengan perniagaan tradisional, SE mengutamakan impak positif kepada masyarakat dan dunia sekeliling. Mereka menggunakan model perniagaan untuk menyelesaikan masalah-masalah seperti kemiskinan, pendidikan, kesihatan, dan kelestarian alam sekitar. Dengan menggabungkan objektif sosial dan ekonomi, perusahaan sosial berusaha untuk membawa perubahan yang bermakna dan berkesan dalam masyarakat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sambutan Hari Perusahaan Sosial ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendedahan tentang perusahaan sosial (SE) serta membantu memperkenal dan mempromosikan produk dan perkhidmatan perusahaan sosial yang hadir pada hari tersebut kepada orang ramai. Di samping itu, sambutan ini juga membantu meningkatkan jumlah SE memohon penarafan melalui klinik penarafan sekaligus menarik minat orang ramai mengenai impak yang diberikan oleh SE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kreasi telah mengambil peluang ini untuk membuat pameran bersama sama dengan SE yang lain. Kami telah membuka booth di SE Marketplace@ASB ini dengan mempromosikan produk produk yang dijahit dan dihasilkan oleh komuniti kreasi seperti soft toys plushie, kraftangan mini backpack, drawstring bag, dan pelbagai jenis kraftangan lagi. Kami juga mempromosikan produk inovasi D'Athirah Magic Ruler (DMR) sebagai produk yang dapat membantu tukang jahit menjimatkan masa dan memudahkan proses melukis pola pakaian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social Enterprise Day 2024 was celebrated on 27 June 2024 at the Asia School of Business (ASB), Kuala Lumpur and this celebration was further perfected by the presence of YB Datuk Ewon Benedick, Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives. Social Enterprises (SE) are business entities whose primary mission is to address social or environmental issues while generating profit. Unlike traditional businesses, SE prioritizes positive impact on society and the surrounding world. They use business models to solve problems such as poverty, education, health, and environmental sustainability. By combining social and economic objectives, social enterprises strive to bring about meaningful and effective change in society. This Social Enterprise Day celebration aims to provide exposure about social enterprise (SE) as well as help introduce and promote the products and services of social enterprises present on the day to the public. In addition, this celebration also helped to increase the number of SEs applying for a rating through the rating clinic as well as attracting the public’s interest in the impact provided by SEs. SE Marketplace@ASB Kreasi has taken this opportunity to exhibit together with other SEs. We have opened a booth at this SE Marketplace@ASB by promoting products sewn and produced by the RuangKreasi community such as plushie soft toys, mini backpack handicrafts, drawstring bags, and many other types of handicrafts. We also promote the innovative product D’Athirah Magic Ruler (DMR) as a product that can help tailors save time and simplify the process of drawing clothing patterns. In conclusion, Social Enterprise Day 2024, celebrated on 27 June at the Asia School of Business (ASB) in Kuala Lumpur, successfully showcased the vital role of social enterprises in addressing social and environmental issues while generating profit.
