Sejak zaman pemerintahan Melayu, pakaian dan perhiasan diri menjadi simbol status dalam masyarakat Melayu.\nSelain itu, aksesori ini sering dihasilkan daripada emas, perak, dan tembaga, serta dihiasi dengan reka bentuk dan ukiran tertentu yang membawa nilai serta makna tersendiri. Dalam hal ini, aksesori fesyen wanita Melayu mempunyai tempat yang istimewa kerana menonjolkan warisan budaya dan kehalusan seni pertukangan masyarakat Melayu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Antara aksesori busana wanita Melayu dahulu yang popular adalah:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Gelang<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Gelang merupakan aksesori yang menjadi keistimewaan masyarakat Melayu khususnya kaum wanita dan ianya terdiri daripada Gelang Tangan dan Gelang Kaki. Gelang dibentuk dengan menggunakan dawai-dawai kasar yang dipintal bulat dan disadur atau dicelup emas. Golongan bangsawan akan menempah khas gelang mereka dan ianya diperbuat daripada emas atau perak. Aksesori gelang ini biasanya dipakai oleh wanita Melayu, India dan Cina Peranakan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Dokoh <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Dokoh merupakan aksesori pakaian tradisional wanita Melayu yang dipakai pada bahagian leher. Dokoh adalah loket rantai yang biasanya berbentuk bulan sabit atau bujur yang dipakai secara bertingkat, sama ada selapis hingga ke tiga lapis atau lebih. Dokoh diperbuat daripada timah, logam atau tembaga dan ianya sering dikelirukan dengan kerongsang atau kongsang. Pada zaman dahulu, dokoh digunakan sebagai alat perhiasan bagi pengantin wanita dan digayakan bersama baju Kebaya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Kerongsang<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Kerongsang atau kongsang merupakan sejenis penyemat untuk mencantumkan belahan baju atau kerudung supaya tidak terbuka. Wanita Melayu akan memakai tiga kerongsang yang berbentuk serupa dan ada juga yang memakai bentuk yang berlainan. Kerongsang boleh dipakai secara tunggal dan ada yang dipakai secara bertingkat dan berantai, dimana ianya bergantung pada status kekayaan si pemakai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>Pending<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Pending merupakan aksesori pakaian wanita Melayu yang mempunyai fungsi seperti tali pinggang. Pending telah direka dan dihiasi dengan berbagai-bagai motif dan bentuk seperti mata manusia, bulat, segi empat dan sebagainya. Pending biasanya dipakai oleh kaum lelaki dan wanita Melayu sebagai pakaian istiadat dimana kaum lelaki akan menggunakan Pending untuk mengikat kain dan samping manakala kaum wanita akan memakai Pending pada bahagian pinggang di luar busana tradisional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"> <strong>Cucuk Sanggul<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Cucuk Sanggul merupakan salah satu perhiasan diri bagi kaum wanita Melayu, India dan Cina Peranakan. Kebanyakan wanita Melayu pada zaman dahulu memiliki rambut yang panjang kerana mempunyai sifat feminin. Since the time of Malay rule, clothing and personal adornment have symbolized status within Malay society. Among these, Malay women&#8217;s fashion accessories hold a special place, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and craftsmanship of the Malay community. Among the popular Malay women&#8217;s fashion accessories in the past are: Bracelet (Gelang) A specialty of the Malay community, especially for women, bracelets consist of wristbands and anklets. Using rough wires twisted round and plated or dipped in gold, craftsmen create these accessories, often custom-made for the nobility from gold or silver. Malay, Indian, and Chinese Peranakan women commonly wore these bracelets. Dokoh Dokoh, a traditional Malay women&#8217;s clothing accessory, is worn around the neck. This chain pendant, usually shaped like a crescent moon or an oval, can be layered, ranging from one to three or more layers. Made of tin, metal, or copper, dokoh is often confused with brooches or kongsang. In the past, brides adorned themselves with dokoh styled with the Kebaya dress. Brooch (Kerongsang) The brooch (kerongsang) or kongsang is a type of pin used to fasten the hem of a dress or veil. Malay women typically wear three similarly-shaped brooches, though some opt for different shapes. Brooches can be worn singly or in tiers and chains, depending on the wearer&#8217;s wealth status. Pending Pending, which functions like a belt, serves as a Malay women&#8217;s clothing accessory. Featuring various motifs and shapes such as human eyes, round, or square, pending is typically worn by Malay men and women during ceremonial events. Men use pending to tie cloth and sides, while women wear pending on the waist over traditional clothing. Cucuk Sanggul Cucuk Sanggul is a personal ornament for Malay, Indian, and Chinese Peranakan women. In the past, most Malay women had long hair due to their feminine nature. Consequently, Malay women used Cucuk Sanggul to pin or hold long hair in a bun at the back of the head, preventing it from falling out.
