On the second day of class, Miss Aliz's focus shifted to the main task, which was to prepare a Baju Kurung Modern that had been prepared in terms of pattern and cut the previous day. The first step began with sewing the fabric according to the pattern that had been produced. This process involved several main components of the garment, including: Front pattern, Back pattern, Sleeves, Front neck lining, Back neck lining, A-Cut fabric (for the bottom). Miss Aliz carefully connected each part of the pattern, starting with connecting the front and back body, followed by connecting the sleeves, and then the process of attaching the neck to obtain a neat and comfortable finish. For the bottom, she sewed the fabric using an A-Cut cuting, which gives a modern cut that is comfortable to style. This process requires attention to the uniformity of length, alignment of the waist line, and the width of the bottom opening so that the cut is neat and balanced. Throughout this process, Teacher Mai continued to monitor and provide guidance, especially in the aspects of correct sewing techniques and the finishing required to produce a finished and quality baju kurung modern.
