Social Enterprise and Inclusive Business Exhibition at the Parliament of Malaysia
29–30 October 2025 | Main Lobby, Level 1, Main Block Building, Parliament of Malaysia
Kreasi Initiative was honored to participate in the Social Enterprise Exhibition Parliament of Malaysia, held from 29 to 30 October 2025 at the Main Lobby, Level 1, Main Block Building, Parliament of Malaysia.
This exhibition served as an important platform to raise awareness about social enterprises and their role in building a more inclusive and sustainable economy.
During the two-day exhibition, Kreasi Initiative proudly showcased its mission of empowering communities through a social enterprise approach. In particular, our work focuses on skills development and income generation.
As a result, we presented a variety of innovative handmade products sewn by members of our community. Each product reflected not only creativity and craftsmanship, but also the social impact behind its creation.

Kreasi Initiative works closely with communities from the B40 group, single parents, housewives, and youth. We provide sewing skills training and continuous support to help participants build confidence and capability. Through this initiative, individuals can turn their skills into sustainable sources of income. This support helps improve livelihoods and encourages long-term economic independence.

The exhibition also created valuable opportunities for engagement with key stakeholders. These included ministry representatives, policymakers, and industry partners. Such interactions allowed Kreasi Initiative to share insights on the impact of social enterprises. We also discussed challenges faced by grassroots communities and explored potential collaborations.
As a social enterprise under the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP), this participation strengthened our presence within the national social enterprise ecosystem. It reaffirmed the importance of collaboration between social enterprises and policymakers in driving inclusive growth.

Overall, the Social Enterprise and Inclusive Business Exhibition at the Parliament of Malaysia was a meaningful experience for Kreasi Initiative. It reinforced the role of social enterprises as catalysts for positive change. By creating economic value and uplifting communities, Kreasi Initiative remains committed to building a more inclusive and sustainable future through skills, opportunities, and partnerships.
